‘Give ’em Hell, Harry!’ to benefit Operetta

One-man show at Sequim High School puts spotlight on Truman to benefit Operetta

Actor Justin Blake brings the show “Give ’em Hell, Harry!” to Sequim High School Auditorium, 533 N. Sequim Ave., this Saturday.

The one-man show, based on playwright Samuel G. Gallu’s 1975 play of the same name, centers on the 33rd U.S. President Harry S. Truman. It runs one time at 6 p.m. Saturday, April 18.

Blake, an award-winning actor, has appeared on stage in major cities coast to coast playing more than 50 leading roles in “Cabaret,” Hello Dolly,” and more. He also has written for television, film and periodicals and is a member of the Screen Actors Guild, Actors Equity Association and The Writers Guild of America.

Admission is $8 for adults and $6 for senior citizens and students with an ASB card. Cash and checks accepted with proceeds benefiting the Sequim High School Operetta Club.

Advanced tickets are available for the show from 7:30 a.m.-4 p.m. through Friday at the Sequim School District Office, 503 N. Sequim Ave.

On the day of the show, tickets will be sold beginning at 5:30 p.m. when the doors open.
