As part of the Summer Reading Program, families and friends are invited to meet at the Sequim Library, 630 N. Sequim Ave., for summer fun in the field. Field Day is set for 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 8. Enjoy three-legged races, giant Jenga, a bean bag toss, make bubbles and other fun activities. In the case of inclement weather, the event will be held at the Sequim Middle School, 301 W. Hendrickson Road.
