WSU Extension’s 4-H Youth Development Program is now enrolling for the 2016-2017 4-H year. 4-H programs teach life skills through hands-on experiential learning. Head, Heart, Hands and Health are the four Hs in 4‑H, and they are the four areas members work on through fun and engaging programs.
In honor of National 4-H Week, families and potential volunteers are invited to “Learn About 4-H” in your community. Please plan to attend one of the following 4-H information sessions to learn about the great opportunities available through the 4-H program. Children always are welcome!
In Clallam County:
Tuesday, Oct. 4, 5-5:30 p.m. Port Angeles Library
Thursday, Oct. 6, 4:30-5 p.m. Sequim Library
Monday, Oct. 10, 4:30- 5 p.m. Forks Library
4-H programs in Clallam County have a variety of clubs and programs led by certified adult volunteer leaders. Contact the 4-H program coordinator in your county for a list of current clubs and project areas.
