City to replace manholes

Work on Washington Harbor Loop set to begin Monday, May 26

The City of Sequim will be replacing manholes on Washington Harbor Loop from Lofgrin West to the end of the road beginning Monday, May 26.

The work will generally take place Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. The project is expected to take three to four weeks to complete.

Residents can expect delays, localized closures, and detours during work hours. Resident access will be provided. Residents are encouraged to heed flaggers, cones and construction signage, and to be cognizant of large construction equipment and trucks and their backup alarms.

The work will include the replacement of manholes, pavement repair and other associated work. The work will be performed by Earthwork Solutions, Lakeside Industries, Rainbow Sweepers and Mikey’s Concrete Services.
