Communit yNews Briefs

The Sequim Guild of Seattle Children’s Hospital meets at 1 p.m. today, Jan. 14, in the second-floor meeting room of The Lodge at Sherwood Village, 660 Evergreen Farm Way.

Members and visitors also are invited for a dutch-treat lunch at 11:30 a.m. at the Oak Table Cafe. Prior luncheons have proved to be a great way for new and longer-term members to become better acquainted.

During the meeting, members will learn current information about the guild’s earnings from the Christmas bazaar as well as information about the gift of stuffed animals given to children by Kiss and Michael Tow.

Members will be asked to assist in various ways for two fundraisers: a breakfast benefit at the Elks Club on Feb. 1 and the Guild’s Valentine bunco game scheduled for Feb. 6.

The Sequim Guild welcomes all who may be interested in helping children being treated at Seattle Children’s Hospital. For more information about membership, call 683-7185 or 681-4091.
