Some Sunday showers didn’t deter drivers to benefit Sequim High School’s class of 2015.

Price Ford Lincoln brought several new vehicles for locals to test drive Sunday, May 4, at Sequim High School as part of Ford Motor Company’s Drive 4UR School program.

Kailee Price, 16, a junior at SHS, organized the event for the first time in Sequim and said they saw at least 230 drivers.

The final count will be finalized soon, and for each driver Price Ford Lincoln and Ford will donate $20 and another $625 for receiving 125 likes for the event on Facebook.

Price said funds will help next year’s senior class pay for various annual activities.

Price Ford Lincoln had 27 employees and the junior class had 55 volunteers for the day.
