Five persons suffered minor injuries in a three-vehicle crash about a mile east of Port Angeles on July 9.

The Washington State Patrol reports a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado driven by 75-year-old Tim McDonald of Port Angeles was traveling westbound on U.S. Highway 101 when it struck a 2000 Subaru Forester at a traffic light, pushing the Subaru into a third vehicle — a 2000 Ford F350 truck — causing damages to all three vehicles.

McDonald was charged with failure to stop and following too closely, the state patrol reported.
