Genealogical seminar focuses on online sites

On Saturday, Oct. 18, the Clallam County Genealogical Society hosts its fall seminar featuring Cyndi Ingle, the creator of Cyndi’s List of Genealogical Sites on the Internet, a categorized index of more than 327,000 online resources.

On Saturday, Oct. 18, the Clallam County Genealogical Society hosts its fall seminar featuring Cyndi Ingle, the creator of Cyndi’s List of Genealogical Sites on the Internet, a categorized index of more than 327,000 online resources.

The seminar is from 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 301 E. Lopez Ave., Port Angeles.

Cyndi’s List is an essential research tool for anyone who is involved in finding their ancestral family. Ingle’s presentation is, “Genealogy Online: productive, organized and successful.”

The seminar will include four sessions, several breaks and refreshments. The Heritage Book Sellers also will be present with their array of genealogical materials.

Cost is $50 for CCGS members, $55 for non-members, $60 for registration after Oct. 13 and at the door. A luncheon may be included with earlier registrations for $10.
