Giving Tree is set up by Habitat store

The Giving Tree — sponsored by Habitat for Humanity, Sequim High School Club Interact, and Friends of Sequim community members — is standing once again next to the Habitat for Humanity store at 154 W. Washington St. in downtown Sequim. It will remain up through Dec. 20.

The tree is meant to teach the joy of giving, as well as receiving, gifts. The public, and especially children, are invited to “Take what you want, and leave what you can.”

Sponsors greatly appreciate mall toys and personal care items. All gifts must fit into a 10” or smaller plastic bag to be hung on the tree.
