From May 3-10, Clallam County Fire District responded to 228 calls for service.

Staff said most calls were emergency medical services (EMS) related or smoke investigations/complaints. Since 2007, residential outdoor burning has been prohibited in all Urban Growth Areas (UGAs) within the state.
