Heather Jeffers takes her oath of office at the Sequim School District Board of Directors meeting Monday, Aug. 4, from Sequim schools superintendent Kelly Shea.

Jeffers was selected from a three-person candidate pool Monday to serve the remainder of former board member Sarah Bedinger’s term (through November 2015).

Jeffers is a licensed nursing home administrator at Avamere Olympic Rehabilitation of Sequim.
