‘Somebody Special’ wins story award for Redshaw

Author and playwright Rebecca Redshaw received first prize in The Lakeview Review Literary Journal short story competition.

Her entry "Somebody Special" is a story about a teenage girl from a small town who dreams of a glamorous life in the big city. The story will be published in the 2009 Winter edition.

Redshaw’s published novella "Dear Jennifer" has been adapted and produced as a play. "Four Women," one of seven plays she has written, has been successfully produced, and she is working on her third novel.
