Langdon Cook, author and mushroom expert, speaks to the Olympic Peninsula Mycological Society on April 9 inside the Gardiner Community Center.

Cook spoke to members about his findings in his books about foraging and eating foods from forests.

The lecture was part of the Olympic Peninsula Mycological Society’s monthly meeting, which meets next the second Wednesday in September, October and November. Its fall show will be held Saturday, Oct. 18, in the Sequim Elks Lodge.
