The Sequim Library, 630 N. Sequim Ave., offers a three-part videography series for young adults between the ages of 12-18.

Workshops take place from 4-6 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 2, Feb. 9 and Feb. 16.

The workshops are led by professional photographer and videographer C. Woodrow French and are in the Sequim Library meeting room. Participants are encouraged to bring their personal cameras to each session, however the library also will provide a limited number of devices for use during the workshops.

On Feb. 2, participants will focus on pre-visualization, Creative Commons music and green screen operation. The second session on Feb. 9 will explore various filming techniques and the final session on Feb. 16 will be devoted to post-production editing and uploading projects to YouTube.

All sessions in the series are free. Space is limited, however, and pre-registration is required. To register, visit the Sequim Library events calendar at www.nols.org, call 683-1161 or send an e-mail to youth@nols.org.

Participants may sign up for one, two or all three workshops in the series.

Funding for this program has been provided by the Friends of Sequim Library.
