Retired physical therapist Barb Paschal presents a free WOW! Working on Wellness forum entitled, “Do You Know These Hints for Improving Your Memory?” at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 11, at Trinity United Methodist Church, 100 Blake Ave., Sequim.

As a rehabilitative physical therapist for 33 years, Paschal discovered that treating people holistically was the key to helping them maximize their potential. Everyone knows that the most important part of their body is the brain; therefore studying and understanding as much as possible about the brain is essential to truly helping each other. Paschal would like to share some easy ways to improve everyday memory and encourage people to work on these to enhance quality of life.

WOW! Working on Wellness is a health education program of Dungeness Valley Health & Wellness Clinic — Sequim’s free clinic. The clinic provides basic urgent care and chronic health care services to uninsured community members.

The work is supported by more than 70 volunteers, including physicians, other professional health care providers and laypersons, as well as private and public donations from the Sequim community and beyond.
