Geoffrey Merscher

October 25, 1951 – October 4, 2024

Geoffrey “Geoff ” Michael Merscher, of Sequim, WA, passed away at the age of 72 on October 4, 2024. He is survived by his son Casey and daughter Ashley and was preceded in death by his son Ben.

Geoff enjoyed sports, nature, comedy movies, music, traveling, road trips and laughing with friends. In his later years, he enjoyed walking the Olympic Discovery Trail and even partook in organized walking-marathons.

A gathering to remember Geoff will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2025, from 3–5 p.m. at the Dungeness River Nature Center (Railroad Bridge Park) in the Rain Shadow Hall room. Friends who knew him are invited to share stories and honor his memory.
