Clallam County amateur championship golf set for July
The 2020 Clallam County Amateur Championship, open at all amateurs, is scheduled for July 10-12 at three peninsula courses.
The tourney starts Friday, July 10, at Peninsula Golf Club (824 S. Lindberg Road, Port Angeles), with tee times starting at 11 a.m. Day two is Saturday, July 11, at Sunland Golf & Country Club (109 Hilltop Dr., Sequim), teeing off at 9 a.m. The tourney concludes Sunday, July 12, at The Cedars at Dungeness (1965 Woodcock Road, Sequim), with tee times starting at 9 a.m.
Format is 54-hole medal play.
Cost is $125 per player (players must have USGA handicap). Fee includes three rounds of golf, range balls and a Sunday meal.
The tourney features $3,000 in raffle prizes, and $5,000 hole-in-one prizes each day.

Tourney to help fund Captain Joseph House
The second-annual Charity Golf Tournament benefiting Captain Joseph House is set for 9 a.m. and noon tee-off times on Saturday, June 27, at The Cedars at Dungeness, 1965 Woodcock Road.
The event features $25,000 in prizes, including a hole-in-one prize of a 2020 Chevy Spark courtesy of Ruddell Auto Mall.
Cost is $90 per player, and includes green fees, cart, range balls and boxed lunch.
