Little League offering early registration

Early bird-registration for the 2025 Sequim Little League season is available at sequimlittleleague.com.

The league offers youth T-Ball, baseball and softball options for ages 4-through-16, including a new hybrid coach/player pitch softball league for 7-and 8-year-olds.

The cost is $120 per player with a $20 discount applied for those who have registered by Dec. 31.

Grants and fee assistance are available.

Coaches and volunteers should also sign up during registration.

Strait Slice earns shutout in soccer title game

Strait Slice Pizza shut out High Energy Metals 3-0 on Nov. 3 to win the Peninsula Soccer League’s Fall Championship.

Zach Gray scored a pair of first-half goals and Taryn Asmus found the net in the second half to lead Strait Slice to the title.

Salazar Painting stopped Forks 3-0 in the match for third and fourth, Meyer Electric defeated Windermere 3-0 for fifth and sixth, Los Primos and Bandidos tied 2-2 for seventh and eighth, and Pantry & Latch outscored Ediz Hook FC in the cellar battle.
