Drennan & Ford Funeral Home and Crematory co-owner Steve Ford sits with the hundreds of pieces of cold weather clothing donated by Clallam County residents as part of its recent “Sweaters for Veterans” collection drive. The cold weather clothing will be distributed to area veterans in need of such clothing during the winter months. Quilcene gallery opens for special sale

The Olympic Art Gallery in Quilcene will participate in Small Business Saturday, set for 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 29. The gallery, normally open by appointment only or for the Olympic Art Festival, will showcase gifts that specialize in nature and wildlife objects created by Northwest artists. Varied items for sale include copper and metal sculptures, hand-turned bowls and jewelry boxes, all sizes scroll saw art pieces including ornaments, several kinds of jewelry, photography, watercolors, Raku and ceramic pieces, scratch board art and more.
