Larsen joins Evergreen

Evergreen Home Loans announces that Kathi Larsen has joined the company as a senior loan officer, reporting to Michele Adkisson, branch manager in the Sequim office.

In this role,  Larsen will join the sales team in serving the home financing needs of the greater Sequim area.

PFOA benefit set for today

Peninsula Friends Of Animals will be the beneficiary of Dine to Donate at the Black Bear Diner, 1471 E. Washington St. from 8 a.m.-noon and 2 p.m.-5 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 24.

A portion of all dining proceeds will support PFOA’s rescues and low-cost spay/neuter clinics. PFOA’s famous potholders and T-shirts will be available for purchase.

New workout at Fit 4Life

Free workshops set

The Home Depot in Sequim, 1145 W. Washington St., hosts a number of free “how to” workshops in coming weeks. They include: outdoor lighting, 10-11:30 a.m., March 12; interior painting and fixing drywall, 1-2:30 p.m., March 13; building a vegetable stand, 6:30-8 p.m., March 17; installing a ceiling fan, 10-11:30 a.m., March 19, and installing a faucet, 1-2:30 p.m., March 20, and making an outdoor wooden doormat, 10-11:30 a.m., March 26.

The Home Depot also hosts a free “Kids Clinic” from 9 a.m.-noon Saturday, March 5, with a workshop on how to make a toy wagon.

Diner hosts Dine-to-Donate event

Sequim’s Black Bear Diner, 1471 E. Washington St., hosts a Dine To Donate event from 8-11 a.m. and 2-5 p.m. on Wednesday, March 16.

Ten percent of sales goes to the group raising funds for the group putting on the Sequim graduation party in June. No coupon is needed. Call 504-2950.
