Babies to 5-year-olds gathered with their families for an inspiring story time on Monday, March 20, in Seal Street Park along Washington Street.

Supporters of the “Love Sparkle the World” project gathered to read a handful of books to show children they are loved.

Bonnie Schmidt, a preschool teacher in Port Angeles, brainstormed the idea based on “Wherever You Are, My Love Will Find You” by Nancy Tillman.

In Sequim, Kristy Hilliker coordinated the event because she liked the message of the event.
