More than 100 students participated in the Adventures in Art Show at Helen Haller Elementary School on June 12.

Aspiring artists learned about and followed the styles of many artists over several weeks such as Laurel Burch, Pablo Picasso, Keith Haring, Henri Matisse and Wassily Kadinsky. For the event in the school’s gym, more than 350 people attended.

The show was put on by teachers Stephanie Grotzke-Nash, kindergarten; Ione Marcy, first grade; Kaylee Kinsey, second; Renee Mullikin, second; and Rachel Oden, third.
