Sequim’s Black Bear Diner, 1471 E. Washington St., partnered with Ms. Wheelchair Washington for a Dine to Donate event on Nov. 14 to bring in nearly $300 for the nonprofit’s annual pageant set for Jan. 27 in SeaTac.

Julie Broadwell, Ms. Wheelchair Washington 2015, said they continue to seek more title holders and that the Washington winner competes in Ms. Wheelchair USA, which is held in Grand Rapids, Mich., next year.

Contestants are judged in accomplishments, communication, and self-perception.

Dine to Donate is available to nonprofits at 8-11 a.m. and/or 2-5 p.m. Mondays-Thursdays excluding holidays with 15 percent of sales going to the organization.
