A linebacker latte? A frap and a first down? A double shot from the shotgun?

Local coffee fans were treated to a bit of football buzz with a visit from the Seattle Seahawks a little after 11 a.m. on May 24 at the Sequim Starbucks on West Washington Street, surprising several local customers.

The visiting crew included the Blue Thunder band, SeaHawks mascots Blitz and Boom and several Sea Gals cheerleaders, who mingled with locals, enjoyed music and posed for pictures.

The Seahawks crew also made a stop at The Front Street Alibi in Port Angeles for a stop later that day.

The visits weres part of the 2018 12 Tour presented by Safeway (May 20-26), as the NFL organization looks to meet with fans, collect stories and photos, and then share those experiences online via Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat beginning June 4; see www.seahawks.com/schedule/events/2018/12-tour/.
