The Sequim Library, 630 N. Sequim Ave., hosts Princess Storytime at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 1, with the Sequim Irrigation Festival royalty. Participants are encouraged to wear royal attire for storytime with Queen Emily Silva and Princesses Brianna Cowan, Kjirstin Foresman, and Shelby Wells.
Children can enjoy stories, songs, games, and one-on-one time with the princesses. Library staff say the storytimes are geared towards toddlers and preschoolers and the adults in their lives. In the case of inclement weather, this event will be held at Sequim Middle School, 301 W. Hendrickson Road.
This year’s Summer Reading Program, “A Universe of Stories, encourages people of all ages to read throughout the summer. It runs through August 17.
