Instructors Brandon Stoppani and Linda Allen of Sequim’s Bodystrong Taekwon-do Academy earn promotions in their black belts at the United States Taekwon-do Federation in Denver, Colorado, on March 9.

Sequim Bodystrong Taekwon-do Academy instructors Brandon Stoppani and Linda Allen on March 9 attended a black belt testing in Denver, Colorado, at the headquarters for the United States Taekwon-do Federation (USTF) and the only location for high rank tests and promotions.

Allen, who has been training in Taekwon-do since 2010, showed off her skills to the testing board and was promoted to 5th degree black belt.

Master Stoppani, with 38 years of experience and an instructor since 1995, was promoted to 8th degree Senior Master. Stoppani is the 52nd person to be promoted to the rank of Senior Master in the USTF since Taekwon-do’s inception in 1955.
