After 33 years working for the City of Sequim, Clint Rushton, a Public Works employee, retired on Nov. 22. Rushton began his work with the City on Aug. 1, 1984, as a caretaker of parks and facilities and worked as a meter reader. In 1996, Rushton drove the city garbage truck. He began working on the sewer crew in 2004, and served primarily in that capacity until his retirement. “The City was fortunate to be able to tap into Clint’s many years of experience covering all aspects of Public Works,” said Public Works Director David Garlington. “We want to thank him for his service and we wish him a happy retirement.” Submitted photo
