The 2017 Irrigation Festival Royalty Court sold homemade apple and pumpkin pies on Nov. 22 outside of Sequim Walmart to raise money for mental health counselors at Sequim School District.

Princess Emily Straling said mental health awareness was her chosen project as Princess. The Court raised a total of $764 towards Straling’s cause.

“As long as it makes a difference, I’m happy about it,” Straling said.

“Each school should have an opportunity for mental health counseling,” she said.
