Farmers and Artisans Market opens its season

Vendors within the Sequim Farmers and Artisans Market celebrated opening day on May 14 with a ribbon cutting ceremony held by the Sequim-Dungeness Valley Chamber of Commerce. Eleven-year-old Isaac Gonzalez-Tapia with Oceanside Nursery and Claire Unruh, 8, with Jembe Farms cut the ribbon with help from the market’s board president Rachel Anderson, executive director Emma Jane Garcia and vice president Eric Pickens. More than 55 vendors set up at the Sequim Civic Center Plaza and in its neighboring parking lot each Saturday from
