The City of Sequim Tourism Marketing Department is seeking applications from artists to be considered to produce a fun and stylized map of Downtown Sequim.

The map will be incorporated into a brochure to be used as a tool to assist visitors in finding downtown assets and attractions. The artist is not expected to create the brochure.

The selected artist will be commissioned by the City of Sequim to develop an image based on the agreed-upon concept for the map. The artist will enter into a contract with the city and will be paid $1,500 upon invoice submission after the successful completion and delivery of a camera-ready image of the illustrated map. The City of Sequim will own the final artwork.

To apply, artists should submit an application and three digital examples of their existing work. The deadline for submissions is Friday, June 6, at 4 p.m. Only digital applications will be considered. To apply, go to https://form.jotform.com/251396278054059.

Artists may be asked to submit additional samples of their work and meet with city staff as part of the selection process.
