Ceriello, Klinger receive Soroptimists’ Girl of the Month honors

Soroptimist International of Sequim recently awarded Girl of the Month honors for the months of March and April.

Danilynn Ceriello was awarded the title for March. Ceriello is an honor roll student. She plays tennis, and lists Biomed as her favorite class because she enjoys learning about how our bodies function. In addition to her academic pursuits, she volunteers at her church and has traveled to Mexico to help build homes for families in need.

After graduating from high school, Ceriello plans to join the military. She expressed a desire to help others and serve her country.

Ahrya Klinger was selected as Girl of the Month for April. Klinger is a member of several organizations, including the honor society, Interact Club, and HOSA. She actively participates in Operetta and school musicals.

In addition to her extracurricular activities, she competes in Track & Field and is a two-time state qualifier. Klinger also dedicates her time to volunteering at the Sequim Food Bank and with her church youth group. She works as a busser at Hiway 101 Diner

Looking ahead, Klinger hopes to attend Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, where she plans to pursue a career as a physician assistant.
