J Fields, Level Three Tai Chi Instructor, will present “Tai Chi – Dance with Life,” a free WOW! Working on Wellness radio forum at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 14, on KSQM 91.5 FM.
Tai Chi is known as “a dance with life,” involving not only the physical but also the mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects of healthy living. In this presentation, Fields will talk about the who, what, when, where, why and how of Tai Chi.
Fields has been sharing information and facilitating groups most of his life. He has coached disadvantaged children, and taught race relations, communications and management skills.
He has been teaching Tai Chi for the past 20 years at a community college and at the Shipley Center.
WOW! Working on Wellness is a health education program of Dungeness Valley Health & Wellness Clinic — Sequim’s free clinic. The Clinic provides basic urgent care and chronic health care services to uninsured community members. Work is supported by more than 70 volunteers, including physicians, other professional health care providers and laypersons, as well as private and public donations from the Sequim community and beyond.
