Libraries set book discussion sessions in January

The North Olympic Library System will host four Book Discussion Group meetings in January — two of them in person and two online via zoom.

Registration is not required. Learn more and access Zoom links at nols.org/book-groups, or call or visit the library for assistance. Reach the Sequim Library at 360-683-1161.

All are welcome to join each month or drop in.

Paperback copies of the titles will be available for pick up any time after the current month’s discussions at the Sequim Library, 630 N. Sequim Ave., of the Port Angeles Library 2210 S. Peabody St., on a first-come, first-served basis.

Copies in other formats such as large print, book on CD, and eBook may also be available to request through the NOLS catalog.

Book discussions started on Jan. 10. The remaining January 2023 Book Discussion schedule includes:

• 2nd Saturday Book Discussion Group — “The Alice Network” by Kate Quinn, 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 14, at the Sequim Library; paperback copies available at the Sequim Library

• Novel Conversations Book Discussion Group — “Do Not Say We Have Nothing” by Madeleine Thien, 4 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 25, on Zoom; paperback copies available at the Sequim Library

• Wednesday Evening Book Discussion Group — “Cloud Atlas” by David Mitchell, 6 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 25, in the Carver Room at the Port Angeles Library; paperback copies available at the Port Angeles Library
