For the second time, Sequim Museum & Arts, 544 N. Sequim Ave., will host a silent auction of art and miscellaneous items for the month of February.
Executive Director Judith Reandeau Stipe said the museum’s last auction two years ago was a big success, and they hope to replicate that in the month of February.
“Come and have some fun while supporting the museum,” she said.
Funds will support renovation of the art gallery and general upkeep, she said.
Visitors can see all that’s available starting during the First Friday Art Walk, 5-8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 7. Local saxophonist John Zuermer will play during the event.
The museum opens 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Wednesday-Saturday, with items available for bidding from Feb. 7-28.
Some of the items include local art, photos, such as a print from Ross Hamilton, a local Texaco station sign, and a 100th anniversary of Irrigation Festival print by Tim Quinn.
Those looking to bid will register in the museum and place any bids on nearby bid sheets.
Auction items are the featured artist for the month, Reandeau Stipeaid.
