Milestone: Easling-Hunt marriage

The marriage of Alan Easling and Haley Hunt was celebrated at a weekend event in The Dalles, Ore., on Aug. 9, 2014.

The marriage of Alan Easling and Haley Hunt was celebrated at a weekend event in The Dalles, Ore., on Aug. 9, 2014.

The groom is a 2002 Sequim High School graduate and a graduate of Washington State University. He is the son of Jeanette and Roger Easling, former residents of Sequim. The bride is a graduate of Florence High School and a graduate of the School of Dentistry at Oregon Health & Science University.

The bride is the daughter of Emily and Dr. Tom Hunt of Florence, Ore.

The couple are making their home in The Dalles where the bride practices dentistry and the groom is an engineer employed by Crestline Construction Company.

Their wedding took place at The Dalles Ranch, a venue just south of The Dalles, and was attended by more than 140 family and friends from all over the country, some from as far away as Tennessee, Texas and Michigan, as well as all points in between. Guests were welcomed to the ranch on Friday evening with a barbecue and time for seeing old friends and family, many of whom pitched tents or stayed in their campers and trailers.

The groom’s sister, Erin Judd, served as the wedding planner. The bride was attended by her sister, matron of honor Valerie Hilton and five bridesmaids. The groom was attended by his best man Mark Millet and five groomsmen. The Rev. Bob Stone officiated.
