Pickens to announce run for state rep

Eric Pickens, a Port Angeles teacher and president of the Sequim School Board, will announce his campaign kickoff to run for 24th Legislative District house seat at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 9, at the Sequim Civic Center, 152 W. Cedar St.
On hand will be special guests State Rep. Mike Chapman (D-Port Angeles) and Washington Education Association president Larry Delaney.
