Sequim grad nets game-winner for Linfield

Anna LaBeaume, a 2010 Sequim High School graduate and two-time state track & field champion, scored the game-winning goal for Linfield College (McMinnville, Ore.) as the Wildcats topped 10-time conference champion Puget Sound on Sept. 17.

It’s Linfield’s second victory all-time against Puget Sound.

LaBeaume, a sophomore at Linfield with an English/creative writing/communications major, scored her first career goal by rocketing a shot past the UPS keeper into the upper left corner.

She lettered eight times at SHS in track & field and soccer. She’s in her first year of eligibility on the Wildcats’ soccer squad.
