Anglers host guide

The Puget Sound Anglers’ North Olympic Peninsula Chapter hosts its next meeting on Thursday, Jan. 21, at Trinity United Methodist Church, 100 Blake Ave.

The guest speaker is Robert Kratzer, owner at Angler’s Guide Service and Alaska Kingfishers. Kratzer guides on the peninsula’s West End rivers in the winter, Alaska in the early summer and southwest Washington in the fall.

Kratzer will speak about catching steelhead with alternative baits. Included in the meeting’s agenda are fishing reports, raffles for fishing gear, refreshments and $50 membership drawing (must be present to win). The meeting starts 6:30 p.m. for visiting and the meeting begins at 7 p.m.

SportsFit sets Little League fundraiser

SportsFit Training Center, 1102 E. Washington St., hosts a Sequim Little League fundraiser, starting at 9 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 13. Get a workout and raise funds for the league’s 2016 programs. Cost is $10 or per person.

Club fundraiser set

A fundraiser for Klahhane Gymnastics is set for 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 20, at the Port Angeles McDonald’s, 1706 E. Front St. A portion of all proceeds go to the gymnastics in support of its athletes.
