A fun day at Sunland

Sunland residents turned out Saturday for a community picnic that featured burgers from Black Bear Diner, friendly competitions that included a Hula Hoop and pie eating contest, and free rides in Captain Crystal Stout’s Dream Catcher hot air balloon.

The Dream Catcher Balloon program is a nonprofit that offers two-seated tethered balloon rides to those who have mobility challenges. Stout donated the balloon for Saturday’s day of fun at Sunland.
