Soroptimists seeking art
Soroptimist International of Sequim, a group celebrating more than 75 years of service, is seeking artists and photographers to create an original piece the featured artwork for the 25th-annual Gala Garden Show, to take place March 16-17, 2024.
Each year, the Gala Garden Show features an original work, donated by a local artist or photographer, that is chosen to be the show’s logo. The art is featured on marketing and publicity materials throughout the year.
The artwork is also the centerpiece of a raffle held on the last day of the Gala Garden Show, and will be prominently displayed at the show and other events earlier in the year. The artist or photographer will also be offered a free vendor booth at the 2024 Garden Show.
Proceeds from the annual Gala Garden Show empower and financially support women and girls in the community, organizers say.
