Sequim Super Kid: Aubrey Dailey

Seventh-grader Aubrey Dailey is making a big impact at the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Olympic Peninsula, where she has been a dedicated member since the fourth grade. Known for her kindness, leadership, and quiet determination, Aubrey is a shining example of what it means to be a “Sequim Super Kid.”

Aubrey currently serves as president of Torch Club, a leadership and service group for pre-teens that focuses on building character, community engagement, and teamwork. In this role, she leads her peers in planning service projects, supporting Club events, and being positive role models for younger members.

Aubrey also participates in L5 (Lovely Ladies Learning Life Lessons) — the Club’s girls mentoring program for ages 10 and up — where participants strengthen self-esteem, confidence, academic success, and healthy friendships. She has been part of L5 for two years, and she describes that program and crocheting during Elena’s Crochet Club as her favorite activities at the Club.

Always eager to help, Aubrey plays an important role in helping to run the Kids Café and the Honor Dollar Store, where younger members exchange earned “Honor Dollars” for fun prizes. Whether she’s organizing items, serving snacks, or guiding younger kids, Aubrey approaches every task with patience, enthusiasm, and a sense of responsibility. Staff say she is “the most helpful middle schooler you’ll ever meet,” always stepping up to support Torch Club, Keystone events, and any project where an extra hand is needed.

Outside the Club, Aubrey stays just as busy. She participates in the Civil Air Patrol Cadet Program and is an avid reader. She is also currently writing her first novel, showcasing her creativity and impressive self-motivation. Aubrey’s leadership and commitment to helping others make her a true role model for her peers.
