The Sunland Women’s Golf Association (SWGA) and SunLand Lady Niners are joining together to sponsor “Drive for the Cure” Golf Tournament, scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 26.

The 18-hole competition is a shotgun start at 9 a.m. while the nine-hole shotgun start is at 11 a.m.

The event is open to all female players. Cost is $36 for 18 holes and lunch, $26 for nine holes and lunch, and $12 for lunch only.

A minimum $20 donation to OMC is suggested.

“Magic Putts” and mulligans are $1 each.

Proceeds go to Olympic Medical Center to pay for breast cancer detection for women in need on the Olympic Peninsula.

An anonymous Sunland member has pledged to donate $1 for every $3 raised.

Registration deadline is noon Sept. 23.
